Enabling JavaScript

For instructions on how to enable JavaScript to function with our website, choose your browser below: 

Microsoft Edge

1. Select the Settings and More menu by clicking the three horizontal dots in the top right corner of your browser window.
2. On the left side menu, click Cookies and Site Permissions.
3. Scroll down to the All Permissions subheading and find Javascript.
4. Click on Javascript and then move the radial button to the right position next to Allowed (recommended).
5. Click Back in your browser until navigating back to the Edmund Optics website. Then Refresh your browser.

Chrome

1. Select the Chrome menu icon
2. Select Settings.
3. Click Show advanced settings.
4. In the "Privacy" section, click Content settings.
5. Under JavaScript, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) radial button
6. Click Done to save. Then Refresh your browser.

Firefox

1. In the address bar, type “about:config” and press Enter.
2. Select “I’ll be careful, I promise” if you are prompted by a warning message.
3. In the search bar, type “javascript.enabled.”
4. Double-click the “javescript.enabled” preference to change the value from “false” to “true.”
5. Close the page. Then Refresh your browser.

Safari

1. Under Edit, select Preferences.
2. Select the Securitytab.
3. Under Web Content, select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
4. Close the dialog box. Then Refresh the page.

Opera

1. From the Opera menu, select Settings.
2. Choose Websites from the left-hand menu
3. Under JavaScript, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) radial button.
4. Close the tab. Then Refresh the page.
