Jay Budd has over 25 years' experience implementing, developing and maintaining quality systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949. Jay also has 15 years' experience in import/export, customs, and border control, specializing in CTPAT, ITAR, and export administration regulation. Finally, Jay is also in charge of product environmental compliance with over 15 years’ experience in ROHS, REACH, KCCC, TSCA, and CE Mark. He holds a BS in Accounting from Delaware Valley University, US.
Kathrin Callaghan is the Product Line Manager for polarization optics, gratings, and Fresnel lenses at Edmund Optics® UK. She has nine years of postdoctoral and professional experience in life sciences and optical technologies, particularly microscopy and spectroscopy. Kathrin holds a BSc in Biochemical Sciences from the University of Salford, UK and a Ph.D. in Drug Design and Biophysics from the University of Salford, UK.
Bryan Herbst has been in the optics industry for over 15 years, spending the last 10 years with Edmund Optics managing OEM customers in commercial markets including medical systems, metrology, and industrial applications. Bryan previously worked at the glass-melter SCHOTT AG and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Scranton.
Joonho Rhee is the Regional Director of Sales for Asia excluding Japan and China at Edmund Optics® Singapore. He has been working for Edmund Optics for 16 years supporting high-precision engineering customers from the life science, semiconductor, factory automation, and material processing industries. Joonho holds a BSc in Engineering Physics and a MS of Photonics from the University of NSW, Australia.
